Naked, Daku & Guyam island-hopping transfers
The three-island day trip off Siargao’s south coast — a bare sandbar, an inhabited island with its own village, and a tree-covered islet.
Three islands, two municipalities
Naked, Daku and Guyam are the three stops on the day trip that almost every visitor to Siargao ends up taking, and they sit in the water off the island’s southern coast. They are usually described as being “off General Luna”, and that is where the boats leave from — but on the 2023 PSGC municipal boundaries only Guyam and Daku actually fall inside General Luna. Naked Island lies within the municipality of Dapa, west along the same coast. It makes no difference to how the day runs; it is worth knowing because the trip is a loop across open water between two municipalities rather than a short hop from one beach.
The three stops are not interchangeable
Daku is the largest of the three and the only one that is lived on: the map record carries a village named Daku and Daku Elementary School on the island itself, which is why it is the stop where lunch usually happens and where there are people, buildings and shade. Guyam is the opposite end of the scale — a tear-drop islet small enough to walk around, covered in trees. Naked Island is a sandbar: it is mapped as an islet carrying no settlement, no buildings and no tree cover at all, which matches its name and means there is nothing to stand under. Plan sun cover and water for that stop rather than assuming you will find either there.
What we quote, and what we do not
We are a transfer company, not a boat operator. What we quote is the land side of the day: the pickup from wherever you are staying — General Luna, Cloud 9, Pilar, the north end or straight off a flight or ferry — to the departure point in General Luna, and the run back afterwards. The departure point is the island-hopping dock beside the General Luna tourism office, which is also where boat registration is handled. Tell us in your request whether you want the boat arranged alongside the transfer or whether you are sorting that yourself, and we will put in writing exactly which legs the price covers, so nothing is left to be settled at the roadside or the jetty.
The whole trip sits inside a protected area
Siargao and the islets around it are a declared protected area — the Siargao Island Protected Landscape and Seascape, established by Presidential Proclamation No. 902 on 10 October 1996 under the NIPAS Act (Republic Act No. 7586). That is the reason the day is a registered, regulated activity with fees collected on shore rather than something you simply push a boat out for, and it is worth budgeting for those separately from any transfer price. We do not collect them and we will not quote them as ours.
What to send us
Pick “Day tour” in the form below, give us your date, your accommodation name and your group size, and add anything bulky — bags, boards, a cool box, camera gear, child seats. If you are arriving or leaving the island the same day, send the flight or ferry details too: an island-hopping day that has to end at a fixed check-in time is a different plan from one that does not, and it is far better priced before you travel than reorganised on the morning.
No published price — and that is deliberate
A fair price depends on your date, your group, your bags and how long we wait. So we quote per trip instead of publishing a number we would have to hedge. Fill in the form below and we will send a fixed, all-in price by email.
