Santa Monica, officially Sta. Monica, is a municipality in the province of Surigao del Norte and one of the two northernmost towns on Siargao Island, alongside Burgos.
Do not bundle it under “Burgos”
North-end stays are often described loosely as “Burgos”, “Pacifico” or just “north end”, but Santa Monica is a separate municipality with its own final road leg. If you are staying here, send the accommodation name or a clear landmark so the written quote covers the actual drop-off rather than a different town on the same side of the island.
