Sayak Airport, commonly called Siargao Airport, is the island’s main airport and is located in the municipality of Del Carmen. It is designated a Class 2 principal airport by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines. General Luna is on the opposite, south-east side of the island, so a road transfer across Siargao is part of every arrival.
